Graduate Admissions Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish clear, consistent, and equitable standards for admission to graduate-level programs at Freedom College of Excellence.
The policy ensures that all admitted students possess the academic preparation, professional experience, and language proficiency necessary to succeed in advanced coursework.
Policy Statement
Admission to graduate programs at Freedom College of Excellence is based on an evaluation of academic qualifications, professional background, and potential for success in advanced study.
1. General Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to a graduate program, applicants must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution or equivalent foreign credential.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (some programs may require higher).
- Submit a completed Graduate Admissions Application and non-refundable fee.
- Provide official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended.
- Submit a professional résumé or curriculum vitae (CV).
- Provide a personal statement (500–750 words).
- Demonstrate English language proficiency (if applicable).
2. Conditional Admission
Applicants who do not fully meet requirements may be considered for conditional admission.
Conditions may include:
- Successful completion of prerequisite or leveling courses.
- Achievement of a minimum GPA (typically 3.0) in the first six credit hours.
3. Transfer Credit Policy (Graduate Level)
- Must be from an accredited institution.
- Grade of “B†(3.0) or higher required.
- No more than 25% of total graduate credits may be transferred.

Denied applicants may appeal to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) within 10 business days. The CAO's decision is final.
