Undergraduate Admissions Policy

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish clear, consistent, and equitable standards for admission to undergraduate programs at Freedom College of Excellence.

Freedom College of Excellence seeks to admit students who demonstrate the ability, motivation, and readiness to benefit from postsecondary education and to successfully complete a degree or diploma in business, healthcare, or a related professional field.

Policy Statement

Admission to Freedom College of Excellence’s undergraduate programs is based on an applicant’s prior academic preparation, professional potential, and commitment to meeting the expectations of a rigorous college-level curriculum.

1. General Admissions Requirements

Application Procedure

  • Applicants must complete an application for admission to Freedom College of Excellence with a paid enrollment fee.
  • Request transcripts from all postsecondary educational institutions previously attended.
  • Complete an entrance evaluation (ACT/SAT scores within 5 years accepted).
  • Submit a high school diploma, GED certificate, or homeschooled certification.
  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree or higher may waive the entrance exam.
  • Criminal record disclosure: awareness that certain records might affect externships.

Freedom College of Excellence admits all applicants who meet academic and technical standards without regard to protected status.

2. Homeschooled Applicants

Homeschooled applicants self-certify on the FAFSA. Transcripts must include student's name, DOB, courses (9-12), grades, and graduation date, signed by the administrator.

3. Recordkeeping

The Admissions Office maintains all undergraduate admission records for seven (7) years per FERPA requirements.
